1. Who is responsible

ClearZone Digital Ltd (company number 17184387, 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA) is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Contact: contact@clearzone.tech.

2. The FocusField app collects nothing

The ClearZone app has no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no ads. It does not request internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere. Your focus stats are computed and stored on your phone. The node broadcasts a signal; it stores nothing about you.

3. What this site collects

• Order data: name, delivery address, email, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. Collected by Shopify Checkout when you order. Needed to perform the contract.
• Payment data: handled by Shopify Payments or the wallet you choose. We never see your full card number.
• Student verification: the university email address you enter, kept only as a one-way hash in a signed cookie, and the six-digit code we email you. Legitimate interest in preventing misuse of the student price.
• Site analytics: Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights record page views and performance timings without cookies and without identifying you.
• Bot protection: Vercel BotID inspects requests to our order and student endpoints to block automated abuse.

4. Who processes it for us

• Shopify International Ltd: storefront, checkout, orders, payments, email receipts.
• Resend Inc: sends the student verification email.
• Vercel Inc: hosts this site, provides analytics and bot protection.
• A delivery carrier, once we appoint one: it would receive your name and address to deliver the order. We have not appointed one yet, so no address has been passed to any carrier.

Each processor acts on our instructions under a written contract. Some are outside the UK; where that is the case, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

5. Cookies

• ff_student_pending: set when you request a student code, holds a signed hash, expires after 15 minutes.
• ff_student: set when the code is verified, holds your single-use discount code, expires after 30 days.
• Shopify Checkout sets its own cookies on the checkout domain. See Shopify's privacy policy.

We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years after the order to meet tax and consumer-law obligations. Student verification data expires with the cookies described above; we keep a log of codes issued for 90 days to detect abuse.

7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email contact@clearzone.tech. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the effective date.
